Terminator Genisys
I dunno... It's looking kinda 'meh' maybe?
They continue to **** with the timeline which is confusing. So what I see in this trailer is this is the second time they send the same dude back to keep Sarah Connor alive? Wait, wut? Apparently terminators age as well? Weird but whatever. Here's the trailer. I didn't see it posted anywhere but the search function is fubar. http://youtu.be/62E4FJTwSuc |

I think at the time it was still up for debate whether or not the show would continue. Then scheduling, contracts, ratings, etc all resulted in it's cancellation. It was a great TV show. |

I gotta get me some of that HGH!
By the way, Jason Clarke has been kicking ass and taking names since Brotherhood on Showtime. The fact that he's in this ups the credibility factor for me by x100. I can't think of 1 project he's done that I haven't really liked.

Well, so far it's taking a beating with the reviews. Sitting at 32% on RT.
I mean, I shouldn't be surprised. It already has a high bar to meet if it was genuinely going to right the franchise ship and be considered closer to the original and T2. Based on the initial trailers it looked like it had promise. It would seem that the last trailer release might have been a good indication that the studio knew it wasn't great and wasn't testing well for anticipated opening weekend box office. Now, remember that is totally subjective. Sony considered their last Spider-Man film a flop because it "only" did $750 million at the box office. I'm sure given the release date with an extended holiday weekend it will at least double whatever the film's budget was by Sunday. It still baffles me why they would drop the John Connor spoiler in the last trailer? Even the director didn't want them to release that... ?

Could very well be true. Of the reviews up so far, none are by the couple of critics that I tend to see eye to eye with. Purely subjective, and the movie doesn't have to be Schindler's list- it's a Terminator flick. Just be fun and exciting

I am looking forward to one thing in this movie:
Sarah Connor is time-traveling. Other than that (and the way that scene must set up) ...

I'm not saying it's bad but it may piss the James Cameron purest off though.

But it's really gotten pretty silly. It's the same old thing every terminator movie. The storyline is just spinning in circles at this point. How many times can we get the same basic story of terminators sent back to try and kill John and Sarah ? I truly think this story was complete after T2. It's just a money grab to keep IP rights. But that's what everything is now.
