Yeah, if the dude gets cut can you see his agent saying KC is one of the places you wanna look at? No cap room, already paying their #1 the 3rd biggest WR contract in the league and the offense doesn't dictate to 1 or even 2 guys. They like to spread it around.

I look at it this way. He was an elite, top 2-3 WR in the league. Now, he's probably top ten, which is elite by our standards. |

I'd be good with it, but he does seem hurt quite a bit.

Yeah, I just checked and the dude is a yardage BEAST. Only averages 14 games a season but still goes for 1,150 per. That's an insane average over an 11 year career.
He has yet to crack 10 TDs in a single season though. I wonder how a guy can be so productive as far as catches and yards go but lag so significantly in TDs.. Strange. |

Despite the Smith trade, I don't see this group parting with a picks often.

Agreed. 1) it was about the position. 2) Reid had a giant size woody for AS.

There's been lots of WR's, TE's and RB's who have caught passes in Houston. They've all come and gone but AJ has been the one constant. They spread the ball around during the Kubiak years mire than the early ones.

There are going to be far more cheaper options that will be released at WR that won't handicap us financially.... wait for that. Can't pay two WR's 10+ million.
