I mean, after Denver our toughest games on the schedule are against the Raiders.

If we beat the Raiders once I'll shit my ****ing pants. I'm all out on this season and have been for weeks. I usually a pretty big optimist, but this season... I just don't see it. If Jamaal was playing, I could see some magic. Right now I'm struggling to see this season as anything but a total loss.

The AFC is a disaster.

The Chiefs still have a Puncher's Chance, even if they lose to Denver.

But if they lose to Denver, they'll only have a single mulligan to last them the rest of the season.

The bills, Chargers x2 and raiders x2 will all be hard games to win, regardless of a win against Denver this week.

I think this week, with proper motivation, game plan, play calling and a few lucky bounces. The Chiefs will win. Denver vs KC are always hard played games regardless of records.

SD and Oak can also be hard to gauge. Rivals and all. Best hopes are split both, I don't think we swept both and maybe not either, or I wouldn't bet on it. I'd hope for it all day long, but wouldn't bet on it.

Our fan base is like a Hallmark Christmas movie. Tis the season, there's nothing else on television, so keep hope alive...then it's over, realizing it was just a movie...the same one you've seen every damn year but you still watch for some reason.

I would have said the same thing about the Royals until a couple of years ago. Chiefs need to pull a Royals.

Lets say they beat Denver (they won't) but lets say they do. We will lose to SD and Cleveland.

Because thats what Chiefs do.

They always pull out one miracle win and lose two games they have no business losing.

Here's what possibly screws with KC right now, you have the Jets & Bills currently slotted to advance, and with Luck missing maybe a month... IND may very well hang around and let HOU contend for that division crown, giving them something to fight for and ultimately continue to be a thorn in the side of KC.

4 of the final 8 on the road
5 of the final 8 are AFC West
4 games vs the Chargers and Raiders

KC has the tiebreaker with PIT and HOU should you need either, but that's where the positives end essentially. KC would have to win 2 games now just to match PIT in wins.

And, a team that loses two games in final minutes at home - one vs Denver and the other vs the Bears... has a tall order suggesting they can run the table.

It's week 10 and KC is the 9th seed... this week is a must win, your playoffs have started.
