Yet another thread and I even went as far tonight that I gave away a very nice Chiefs coat and chiefs stocking cap at the party I was at.Also quit my fantasy football league and am renouncing the NFL as a whole.

Pro football is nothing more than pro wrestling only the stage is 50,000 times larger and the NFL just might get their Luck/Manning rematch and maybe even their Manning/Brady rematch.I ****ing hate to think this shit is rigged but at 51 I've seen much to much over the years and am done being made a fool of.

Oh and lastly this years pro bowl will be a fantasy draft,really,wake the **** up people we're watching another form of Hollywood where some of the actors are paid millions and some are just bit players.

If that had been a receiver running a route and caught the ball and a split second later he was hit and the ball came loose they would say he didn't have possession. The defender bobbled it and for a split second had control before going out of bounds. A split second usually is not enough time for them to say someone established possession.

So the master plan to ensure that the colts advance was to allow the chiefs a 28 point lead, wait for a call that was too close to call 100 percent then make sure it went the way of the colts? That's it?!

I thought the video on the fumble recovery was inconclusive. That's evidently why the officials thought also.

Lamar beat the old NFL and because of that the Chiefs will never win it all again. Yeah there's enough old money left to keep paying for that.

As a neutral viewer, I don't think this particular game was rigged, but there are plenty of games every year where the officiating is at least overtly biased towards one team or player.

However, this game did show the other major problem with the NFL today besides biased and bad officiating. Thanks to all the rule changes that favor offense, football just isn't football anymore. A playoff game should never have a final score of 45-44. That's just absurd. And shootouts like this aren't even that fun to watch because everyone knows they're merely a product of bogus rule changes, not a testament to each team's true skill level.

You are talking about two distinctly different things. A catch and a recovery.

Officials was on the spot and made the right call and the replay could not prove it otherwise. Non issue...

If Brady, Manning, Luck, Rodgers, or Brees get their head banged to the ground slightly like Charles did and then look fine 3 minutes later, I guarantee the nfl "independent" doctor doesn't rule them out for the rest of game. That!! It seemed like we lost a lot of key people in one game. I don't even remember when Avery went out. Normally they show like 50 replays of the hits that put people out, but they showed a few of some and hardly any of the others. This was some crazy shit

You mean like last week's Chiefs-Chargers game with not calling the obvious illegal formation on the missed FG and the 'no fumble' call in OT?

Because surely the NFL wanted the Chargers to go to the playoffs instead of the Steelers, right?

I would think that sports fans of all people know that people **** up and things move fast and refs screw up too. Mistakes do not equal planned conspiracies.

Plus, any ratings tweak NFL bean-counters would gain from having Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl instead of Alex Smith would be far outweighed by the sport-destroying scandal - not to mention the lawsuits, criminal charges, and possible Senate inquiries - that would devastate the league if their score-fixing were ever discovered. From a risk vs. reward standpoint, fixing NFL games is completely not worth it.

We just lost.

Saints v. Eagles. It took 26 points to win. With offenses like those, what happened to prevent them from scoring 60 points each?

Here we go.. NFL Network is already showing the Bills Oilers playoff highlights and comparing us to the Oilers. I've never in my life been more embarrassed to be a Chiefs fan or to live in KC more than I am right now.
