nice try Gordon. Way to give Green 3 FT's to potentially take the lead

I see 11 teams that could make the playoffs in the West. Bad year to have both Durant/Westbrook get hurt at the same time.

It all depends on how fast they get healthy and if they stay healthy. I think with Lamb and Morrow back they'll start winning some games. They've been surprisingly competitive in most of them but can't finish. Now Perry Jones and Roberson need to get back as well. It's been an unbelievable rash of injuries.

It's not even just them.

Morrow and McGary who both looked very promising in preseason get hurt.

Reggie Jackson misses the first 3 games.

Roberson has missed the last 3.

Jones who had been averaging over 20 has now missed 2.

There have been very few teams I've seen get hit this hard. However if they stay healthy when they come back I believe they will get there because they will be focused. No choice. They are as good as anyone in league if they can get healthy but that's a big if right now.

I don't expect anyone to feel sorry for the Thunder though. They were very fortunate in this regard for a long time. Everyone points to Harden and while I agree he would be nice to have you just can't overcome this kind of shit when it hits. That's just part of sports. They've lost a major player the last 2 playoff runs and the injury epidemic this year. Not much you can do.

That's one of the examples I could think of. Indiana has been hit pretty hard this year as well. I think they'll be fine too if they stay healthy. I swear it's seems like everytime someone touches the floor they are hurt. Just the way it is sometimes.

I really liked the way the role players developed over the summer and loved the ball movement I had seen in preseason. It'll be frustrating if they never get off the mat because it may be the best chance they ever have.

It's been a lot of fun watching these guys play all these years so I'm thankful for that. Not many fan bases get to watch a team like this period.

There is a team I can't wait to watch grow. I love what they are doing with their roster. Giannis, Parker, larry Sanders.
