2015-2016 30.1 ppg, 50.4 fg%, 45.4 3pt %, 5.4 rpg, 6.7 apg, 2.1 spg

He took his offense game to the next level. No one in the league can score anywhere close to as effectively as Curry can. LeBron is not as dominant on D as Curry is on O... Hell I'd take Leonard's D over LeBrons at this point.
Why does LeBron need to be dominant on D to be the best in the game?

Curry is an elite scorer and a good passer. Average on D. Not a rebounder.
Lebron is an excellent scorer and a good passer. Excellent on D. Excellent rebounder. Lebron may not be elite in any area at this point in his career. But he's still excellent in all areas. He can and has played 3 positions including PG his entire career.

The biggest frame of reference for me is that Lebron with maybe the worst Finals supporting cast of all time last year actually made the Cavs put up one hell of a series last finals. Without Curry, the Warriors were doing pretty well in playoff games. It's not a knock on Curry. He's an unbelievable player. But he's also mostly one-dimensional with an elite supporting cast.

Well if they meet in the finals and LeBron is that much better he should take over then just like MJ did twice when he was in the finals and didn't win the MVP award...

We'll find out soon if they both meet up.

I don't think Lebron is nearly the kind of elite playoff performer MJ was. I never put Lebron above MJ and probably never will. In fairness, to his resume, Lebron has had elite finals performances. Curry has been in one and he was great but not elite -- he only became great in the finals because of Iguodola.

I am just talking about what Lebron is capable of doing that I don't think Curry is capable of. If you put Curry on that shit snack team the Cavs fielded in last year's finals, how far would Curry have taken the Cavs?

Curry unanimous win is nothing noteworthy tbh. There are strong players in todays game.. but not as strong as the all time worthy players of the past.

Curry is not better than Lebron. Take curry off warriors and they still have a 50+ win caliber team.

Take Lebron off Cavs and i see a mid 40 win team. Irving is a great PG.. but he can't carry a team nor can Love. Curry is average defender, lebron is better defender, has a better offensive game, rebounds, and amazing passer.

that is not to say Curry did not deserve the award. He was the best player this year no doubt.. just straight lethal.

Says it all about this good situation going forward for Portland, and why no Blazers' fan misses Aldridge for a second. His attitude, and stupid shit like chartering a private jet after their playoff loss in Memphis because he couldn't be bothered to fly back with the rest of the team on the team's private plane, and the rest...

Le brick shot horribly in last year's finals and if getting waxed 4-1 by tweety bird is putting up "one hell of a finals" then your standards are too low. 2-4 finals record is not kingly. And no, Currys supporting cast is not "elite". I used to hear that same "take this player away" bullshit when people tried to prop up lebron over Kobe and downplay Kobe's 5 rings and make excuses for the so-called king's failures. Same shit different year.

Take Lebron off the Cavs and they are a pile of flaming shit.

Take Curry off of GS and they still have a great chance to win it all.

GS ain't winning shit without curry and that is a bullshit argument anyway. Le choke comes up short despite having a free path to the finals every year in that joke east conference. They swept Detroit and atlanta. Yawn....wake me when people are making excuses for the kang after another finals failure. I hope they play miami and miami gers that ass. I would giggle my mf ass off.

Uhhhhhhhh.....
LeBron shot horribly last year's finals? The dude had the most insane usage rate maybe ever in a finals. He literally single handedly made what should have been a blowout a series. Of course you're not going to be at your best when you're asked to do that much. For crying out loud, dellavadova was hospitalized for exhaustion.

IIRC, LeBron was like 28% from beyond 5 feet from the hoop, could be wrong. He got most of his points driving and in transition. Still impressive as he was the only reason the Cavs were in it.
