First off, Hosebag, it's four months later. Other QB's have signed deals since, making the amount of QB money much greater than in March.

Secondly, I still don't believe he should be paid among the Elite QB's in the NFL because he's not Elite. So whether "Elite" starts at $20 million or $22 million or $25 million per, Matt Ryan, IMO, should get considerably less.

But, that is unlikely to happen, as he'll probably get $20 million or more.

The actual quote was on a 30 for 30 documentary. I'm not so sure I'll find that video. This is proof. Not only does his wife confirm he thought about quitting, but it proves he felt he was a bust, and Denver fans and media weren't too fond of him. So hateful towards him in fact, they attacked his wife. Something Chiefs fans didn't even do too Cassel. The Broncos even thought about trading him but didn't pull the trigger, they also benched him early and often.

These facts directly contradict your claim that everyone always knew he'd be great.
