I loved that episode. It did feel like one of the last ones to me, I had a sense of foreboding the entire hour that the show hasn't had recently. Like something bad was coming, but I didn't know what.
Rumor has it next week's is another that gives a shitton of answers. |

I actually really enjoyed this episode, and I think they're setting up some more explosive action in the last 3 eps. I'm thinking that the fleet is going to go after Hera, which means taking on the Cavil-led cylons head on, which will definitely result in some major fighting... |

1) When she "died" on Earth, was Resurrection already destroyed, or is there another one floating about out there? 2) How did she get to Earth? 3) How did she get back? 4) Where did she get the shiny new Viper? Me, I haven't given up on seeing the "Light People" (they have a title, but I can't think of it. Where's Adept Havelock when you need him?) just yet. I still think back to the scene at the end of season 3 where Galactica launched it's battle wings and was facing off against the Cylon fleet. The camera starts to pan back and away from that, and there are three or four "Orbs" close to the battle site that are too close to be stars. I dunno - might end up being nothing, but as has been said, while Ron Moore has certainly taken the new Galactica in its own direction, he has been consistant in running somewhat parallel to the old story. Oh, and actually chuckled at "Feldercarb", speaking of the old series. |

The "Light People" or "Beings of Light" was the only names they were referred to (by "canon" sources). The execrable Richard Hatch novels suggested they were the original Kobollians, which evolved and were eventually worshiped as "Angels" by the founders of the 12 colonies. At this point, I agree they likely aren't going to come into play, though there was a tantalizing hint in this last episode about "we're all being manipulated by something else". It could be that the "Head Six/Head Baltar" are tied to the Final Five's conversation a couple of episodes ago about the "warnings" which appeared differently to them back on ancient Earth before that holocaust. Specifically, one saw a woman, one saw a man, etc. Could it be that the "Ship Of Lights"/Orbs from the end of Ep. 3 and the "Head" entities are some type of Cylon or Anti-Cylon technology left from a much earlier cycle? I'm also wondering if there is a tie of sorts between "Daniel" the 7th model, and "Daniel Graystone", builder of the Colonial Cylons in the upcoming prequel "Caprica".

By the way, when did one of the 6's become a Raptor pilot? I knew they had joined the fleet, but I didn't know they were also being allowed into the military (other than Athena, of course).

As far as them joining the military, the Cylons have been flying sorties with the Viper pilots for awhile now, all under the command of the CAG - Starbuck. |

Good takes. I actually forgot all about the Baltar/Caprica 6 head game going on until last week. HTF is she able to get inside his head, unless he's just utterly insane? Is he REALLY the Cylon leader, ala old series, and just doesn't know it yet? Strange to re-introduce that dynamic at the end of the series... Yeah, any guess is good about the possibility of the Light People. It would certainly tie up some loose ends, but would that in a way be like cheating with an easy out? Who knows. I've read nothing on the Caprica series coming out. I'm not a real big fan of prequels to start, but I will trust in MooreCo. to go about it the right way. Other than Silock jonesing for more shit to be blown up (lol), they've done a fantastic job with this story. (Oh, how many bricks will be shat when Cavil looks Hera in the eyes for the first time and says "By your command"? Heh.) |

Yep, those are the 6's - the sexy blonde (usually) wenches played by Tricia Helfer.

The bad news is that we only have 3 more hours.
The good news is that we won't have any more setup episodes. |

So, we now know that Kara definitely died, was ressurected, and apparently got a new Viper from the Gods. So if they all die on the Galactica will they all be reborn and get a brand new shiny battlestar?
Maybe they'll get the Pegasus back, too. I'm so confused. |
