***Official 2014 Training Camp/Preseason Mega-thread***

Post all of the Training Camp/Pre-season updates, relevant tweets, and general thoughts in this mega-thread.

If something happens to be particularly newsworthy, feel free to start a thread and discuss it there. Don't be a dickbag and "Q" up their thread, unless some idiot posts something like 5 days late.

WHEN POSTING TWEETS - When posting Tweets, instead of just copying the text, you can actually embed the tweet by clicking "...More" (right next to the timestamp of the tweet)-> "Embed Tweet" -> Copy the embed code, then paste that into your CP post. It will make the thread look a lot cleaner and we won't have to keep clicking away from the website to see the content. Thanks in advance.

Their starting NT is out for the year, too... that should help some.
We do?

So we didn't give up an average of 29.8 PPG in our last 8 games?

Whew. I was worried my memory was in serious decline.

We lost Houston for a few games and Halo for a game or two and he played injured the rest of the time. That ****ed us up big time.

Pure awesome. Maybe you need to spend less time bitching incessantly and more time working on your grammar.

And its not like the media knows exactly what the Chiefs are doing. Dorsey isn't telling them what is going on you old dumbass.

We're all well aware of the factors that caused our slide... injuries, depth issues and safety play, then throw in some Sutton.

Do you not think they will be even better this year, did this 9-0 defense actually get weaker?... this defense has no excuse to do anything other than murder people in 2014.

We're bigger, deeper and speedier all across this 5 pro bowler defense... damn right we do.

Can a safety be any worse than Kendrick Lewis was last year?

We have no real proof of that.

The only thing that's almost certain is that safety play will be better, but even that is not guaranteed.

We replaced some questionable parts with questions.

Anyone saying this defense is better is basing that on hope and prayer.

It can still potentially be worse.

Better than what?

The defense that preyed on bad teams with backup QB's?

If you want to talk about "factors" it needs to go both ways.

Is this defense as good as we saw during the 9-0 stretch?

**** no. Not even close.

Is this defense as bad as we saw in the last 8 games of the season?

**** no. But much closer to reality.

This defense didn't "murder" a single decent team or QB last year with the exception of Romo, and everyone here thinks he sucks. I'm not seeing any evidence of this defense "murdering" anyone in 2014.

Sounds like Frankie Hammond kicked ass today. Hemmingway got a day off and Hammond stepped up big time. There are a lot of reports Fulton may end up being a gem. I guess he really did well on the one on one drills. Nick Jacobs is a nut. Big armed prospects come and go all the time. There is one or two every year in the draft. Back up quarterbacks have to be smart and not turn the ball over. Bray is missing reads and turning it over almost daily. It will be interesting to see what happens. I hope Stephenson is OK. That would be a big loss.

They did for a few games, sure.

Is it sustainable? Who knows, considering we've only seen Smith do it a few times in 8 years.
