Ghost Rider 2= Shit. Complete and utter shit. Who keeps calling in Nick Cage for auditions? Put that old horse down already!
Sherlock Holmes 2= Great movie. I really like Downey Jr in his sarcastic, witty, intellectual roles ala Iron Man. His on-screen chemistry with Jude Law is great as well. |

We watched 1,000 Words and 21 Jump Street last night. Both not bad, pretty good. I prefer a fat Jonah Hill to the skinny one though.

Watched Blue Valentine again last night. This time with the director commentary.
Man... I've wanted to make a movie like this for as long as I can remember. Brilliant film. Watching the commentary just made it even better, brought a whole new level of appreciation. |

It's pretty good. Hill was funny, as expected... the other dude was funny too. (didn't expect that) I really enjoyed the somewhat obvious cameo near the end, too. Well played. 7/10

21 Jump Street was ****ing great. Holy balls! I didn't expect to laugh that much. Channing Tatum was funnier than Jonah Hill, IMO.

I must be a movie hardass.
I thought "Blue Valentine" was awful. Same goes for "21 Jump Street".

I want to rent Coriolanus. I know it's an adaptation of a Shakespeare play, but I don't know if they use the actual play dialogue, or just use the play as a template of sorts. I don't really like the movies when they use the actual lines from the play. It doesn't translate well, to me.

I'm very late to the party on this but I started up the 90s (1990 to be exact) series "Twin Peaks" yesterday on netflix after having watched a few David Lynch films over the weekend... I watched 5 straight episodes yesterday and am totally hooked on this 30 episode series. Some great stuff here.
Anyone remember this series?
