hehe nope.
With how the co-op/invasions work - the world has to remain in a consistent state. You can, however, just quit back to the title screen -- the game saves at nearly every action.. You'll pick right up where you quit out.

If you're curious if these games are for you then I'd suggest going back to Dark Souls instead of spending $60 for Bloodborne

Anyone else pick up Pillars of Eternity? It's a Baldur's Gate style RPG that was funded through Kickstarter a few years ago, developed by Obsidian. I'm just a couple hours in, but so far I've loved it.
The writing is outstanding (even down to the item descriptions), and the gameplay is a fun and updated take on the old-school Infinity engine CRPGs; it's difficult (I find myself occasionally dying to "minor" enemies), but the combat system is fair and tactical. Funny that it comes out the same week as Bloodborne, because it shares the sense of satisfaction when you improve your gameplay and defeat a difficult enemy. The reviews so far have been great (mid-90s on Metacritic), so if you ever enjoyed the deep, slower-paced RPGs from a long time ago, you'll almost definitely enjoy this. |

I backed it on Kickstarter 2 and a half years ago. Just finished my first session. Its hard~ I am playing on 'normal' difficulty. One of my finance guys at work decided to start out on 'Path of the Damned' difficulty and quickly turned around and went to easy. He thought 30 years of weekend DnD had him prepared! and, I can already tell its going to be epic. it has been DOMINATING reviews. |

I'm not a huge fan of spending the same amount of time reading in a video game as I do playing it but I'll give pillars of eternity a fair shake, so far I'm not seeing the OMGits such an amazing video game.

Resident Evil 5 (which was great IMHO) is $6.80 on Steam right now.
Loved the mini game that was timed, and had different maps (cant remember the name of it right now). On a separate topic.......Half Life 2 is free on Steam right now........if I've never played Half Life (I know, for shame!), should I wait and play if first?

I thought some of you might find this interesting. My mother-in-law works with a guy who found a copy of Stadium Events in his garage a few months ago. He put it on eBay. Here's what it sold for:

What is the difference between the NTSC and PAL version?
My neighbor had this game with the workout pad. Never mind, it's about scan rate. |

I had the common version which was World Class Track meet, or whatever. PAL was generally used in Europe, whereas NTSC was primarily an American format.
