Quinn QBotF

Hate on me!

Watching the quarterbacks
Among the 3 quarterbacks on the roster, the guy who threw the ball best on Thursday was Brady Quinn. He appears to have solid mechanics in his drop and has smoothed out some rough edges that were visible in his motion going back to Notre Dame. Matt Cassel threw several nice passes, but he was high on his throws during much of the session. Ricky Stanzi was OK. @Iowa homers.

“I think they’re beginning to gain a command of the system and some of the checks that we have in place,” Crennel said. “They’re all doing well. Probably, Brady and Matt are a little ahead of Stanzi right now, but they’re all working at it. They’re a good group in that room, so we feel good about them.”

And didn't he win that game...?

That doesnt change that the team invested a first on a quarterback the previous year.

It actually does.

Once new management comes in, all bets are off, no matter what.

Maybe Quinn wont be the answer but,
i'd rather put my hopes on a former 1st round pick QB to turn into greatness than depend on a guy that couldn't even start in college.

Not if you have the most popular athlete on your team next to Lebron.

With any other position besides quarterback, I would agree with you.

Why does it matter about popularity?

Was that popularity for being a good QB in the NFL? Nope.

Especially a first round qb, who was projected to go in the third round or later, was drafted by a dipshit kid like coach, who you fired.

Popularity for being a proven winner (in college) sitting on the bench of a team with a horrible record.

Our HC drafted Quinn, started him in Cleveland.

If he were better than Cassel, he'd be playing.
