I could see it happening but really 6-8 wins seems pretty doable.

AFC West

Broncos 12-4 (2): Could be better than 2013 team even if wins and offensive output dip. But schedule is murderous.

Chargers 8-8: Last year's schedule allowed late-season charge. This year's could easily produce late-season slide.

Chiefs 4-12: Tight salary cap meant crippling free agent defections, and they didn't sufficiently reload in draft.

Raiders 3-13: Best thing influx of over-the-hill vets can do is change culture. Carr, Mack promise brighter days ahead.

In fact, Chris Owens was rated higher than Sean Smith as well. He was rated higher than ANY Chiefs CB last season.

He wasn't in the red for coverage either. Flowers was -6.9 in coverage last year

Which unit are you guys more worried about? Offense or Defense?

I would say Defense. Even if our OL plays poorly and none of our WRs behind Bowe contribute anything significant, our offense should still be able to put up some points.

I don't think that our secondary will be able to stop anyone, our lack of pressure from a 4-man front only compounds that problem.

Meh, he's already having problems with his knees again from reports I read earlier. I doubt that Flowers ever returns to being what he was.

They're going to compound each other.

Offense won't be able to be so conservative, leading to more mistakes, sacks, etc.

It's shaping up that each side's weakness is going to contribute to the other side of the ball being worse.

I really dont think we've seen what this D is capable of yet... Devito's been out, Catapano's been sick and I honestly think Poe has been dogging it this preseason, I watched him get stood up and handled one on one way to much sunday.

Thats not like him, he's biding his time IMO.

This front seven should be able to mask all kinds of deficiencies in the secondary and if all of these pro bowlers cant do that then we're ****ed anyway.

Definitely defense.

I think over the course of the season the OL will gel together like they did last year and we proved we could put up points despite our lack of talent at WR.

The illegal contact flags are going to absolutely kill us in our scheme. Having Berry back will help considerably but until our corners learn to turn their heads and make plays on the ball were going to be in a sea of shit.
