Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

Heh, I just went out and picked up a New Herritage Manufacturing Rough Rider .22 6 shooter. One of the local outfits had them on sale for $114. I have no clue what the hell I'm going to do with it, but I couldn't pass up that deal.

Anyone have any experience with the Trijicon red dots that don't require any batteries?

Awesome, thanks, I just have a few questions if you don't mind because I think I'll be getting one.
How does it work in the dark? Does it just require the tiniest amount of ambient light? Is the brightness of the dot ever affected?

It works great it total darkness and remains the same brightness. I have a Luminox watch, that does the same thing.

Awesome. Thanks, man.
Trijicon it is. I don't want to rely on batteries when the zombies come, man.

Can't go wrong with Trijicon. I also have the green dot set up on my Para Hi-Cap .45.

I'm going to the gunshop tonight to grab a couple 30 round mags for my trip to the range tomorrow. From what I'm hearing, Magpul is the way to go?

I'm figuring out that if it says Magpul on it, it pretty much rocks. |
