I wouldn't go that far. I think if it goes to 7 it's pretty much a toss up. This Giants team is too scrappy to fall victim to a statistic. But anything crazy can happen in a single game 7.

I'm a sucker for history, and superstitious when it comes to baseball.

And? Like I said, I really like Ventura v. Peavy, regardless of what you think.

I knew it wasn't over. Tomorrow could he an epic games. Both teams are pretty much mirror images. I hope the Royals can stuck around like the Giants. Regardless I'm proud of this team win or lose. |

I'm going on record. If the Royals win it all tomorrow I'm buying a Yost jersey in the offseason. No sports figure has ever received more criticism from me, and I will more than happily eat my words with that purchase.

Yost hasn't just managed us to Game 7 of the WS, he's been funny as hell in the media and just by reading writeups of him nationally you can sense the national media if not other fanbases are really fascinated by his sense of humor.

If I wasn't a Royals fan, I'd probably love the guy. I like the guy as a person, or at least the guy I believe him to be as I've never met him and obviously don't know him, but some of his decisions are just so horribly hard to defend they drive me ****ing nuts.... which leads me to want to club him like a baby seal every time he Yosts the team. I'm hypocritical as hell about using the term "Yosted" when he screws up and/or when he comes out looking like a genius and I'd definetly buy a Yost or, better yet, a Yosted jersey if he wins game 7. I'm surprised there aren't a bunch of "Yosting" memes floating around with some of his weird dugout and interview captures. |

I'll say this: Maddon would do great things with the talent on this roster if Yost was to hang up the cleats after this season.

I'm sure Ned feels redeemed from what happed with the Brewers regardless of what happens tonight so yeah him accepting a front office job and Maddon stepping in would kick ass, but I give it about a .001 chance of happening. |
