Pretty much the same as Miami since taking Jake Long.

They have literally drafted 1 skill position player to go with him in 5 years in the first three rounds.
Keep ****ing that chicken, Dane.

Um, in 2009, they gave up a second round pick in 2010 for Gonzalez.

I guess that doesn't count though, right?

In 2011, they gave up multiple picks for Julio Jones.

But I guess that doesn't count either, right?

I don't think they'll pay him more than Aaron Rodgers. He'll probably get the 2nd highest contract in NFL history.

The Colts might trade Andrew Luck to the Chiefs for a Busch Light.

If they trade him, that's 50%. If he stays, that's 50%.

I know that Matt Ryan is head and shoulders better than Chad Pennington.

15 draft picks...1 skill position player.

If you want to include the trade chips, go ahead...17 picks to get 3 skill position players. He made the playoffs as a rookie prior to adding any of them.

Better than Chad Pennington after his surgery? Yes.

The 2008 Miami Dolphins beat exactly one team with a winning record that seasons, the Jets, who went 9-7.

They reverted the following three seasons to being a sub-par team. Until this off-season, they didn't have a legitimate number one receiver. Their offenses were bland and boring.

Regardless, I don't know how you can state that their fortunes would be any different had they taken Ryan instead. They haven't near the franchise stability, front office, personnel or coaching as the Atlanta Falcons during that period.

And, he lost in the playoffs. That team wasn't nearly as bad as their record indicated in 2007. They had solid personnel and had been to the NFC Championship just a few years prior.

The Falcons problems in 2007 stemmed from Bobby Petrino and Michael Vick.

Yeah, he had three TD's in 2010 and six in 2011.

could Matt Ryan have done something to change that?

Are you sure we can't say Miami would definitely be better off today if they had drafted Ryan over long?

They had enough talent (with competent QB play) to win a lot of games in 2008 and they fell backwards when Chad got hurt.

Now, are you gonna sit there and say they wouldn't have been better with a quarterback BETTER than Pennington for the last 5 years?

Haha ok
