Pats natural ability to look downfield even when under pressure is what has me so excited. It made me sick to my stomach watching Smith play after play after play pull down so quickly while receivers were running wide open for the end zone.

This is going to be a great year to be a fan.

I’m prepared for a year where he throws 15-20 picks, but has over 30 TDS. I can see him turning it over more than we think in the first 6 games, but it will be fun. Reid will reel him in and he will end the year on a tear going into the playoffs.

He’s gonna be shown things in games by opposing defenses that he’s never seen before. Some mistakes will be made and he will learn from them.

Charger
Steelers
49ers
Broncos
Jaguars
Patriots

That’s a lot of stingy defenses to start the year against.

But you know what? The kids a competitor and I think it’s great for him to face that level of defenses right away. He knows he’s gonna have to come with his A game right away and I’m sure he’d have it no other way.
