Which sport produces the least exciting highlights?
For the life of me, I can't understand how dunking a basketball is exciting. Congratulations on your two points. The other team will be making that deficit up in the next minute.

You are talking about a lot of stuff that this thread isn't about imo

1) I do like baseball
2) You are getting highlights and an exciting game mixed up.

I consider a highlight an amazing play not just a suspenseful and exciting play. While overtime is exciting it isn't a highlight. A super dunk, a 1-handed diving catch in football, Willie Mays over-the-shoulder catch. Most inside the park home runs are based on mistakes and poor play in the outfield. They are largely exciting not really a highlight.

A highlight is always exciting but an exciting play isn't always a highlight.

Maybe I'm wrong but it's the way I'm taking the question.

I'd say Baseball, then Basketball are pretty dry. Yay, you dove for a routine fly in left field... wooooooo. Yay, you dunked it in a way that's been done 700,000 times before... I mean I do think there are some sweet pass/scores from time-to-time in basketball but other than that I'm rarely impressed.
