Isn’t he a free agent and allowed to sign anywhere? IE, not pass through waivers?

Not after the trade deadline. All cuts go through waivers.

But picking him on waivers, don’t you have to take his current deal? Don’t know what it is but if he wasn’t highly paid on his current deal, wouldn’t the Steelers just keep him? It’s got to be win/win for the Steelers to just cut him, more than personality conflicts, he’s probably not worth what you’d have to pay to claim him right now.

He clears waivers, he goes where he wants for money the signing team wants. Unless he’s still got plenty of tread, I’d guess he goes through the waiver. On the other hand, if you think he’d never pick the Chiefs, regardless of money; then maybe claim him, if you really want him. It’s a poker game right now. Be interesting to see this play out

Anyone know our current waiver position, and if there are any logical places for him to go that have a better spot?

Every playoff team is going to want Harrison to get some insight into PIT. I bet Baltimore gets him. They will have a better chance to get waivers.

Not surprised but have a feeling Ravens sign him just to go to work on Fisher.

Was Suggs out when we thumped them in 2015?
