Well, no, not with Junis/Skoglund/Farrell/Asshole-of-the-week taking up two spots in the rotation.

That will be rectified by the time the playoffs roll around. IF we make it into the playoffs.

Pitching is the easiest thing to fix at a trade deadline - hell, Royals could get their boy Cueto back ... for the low, low price of 3 minor league JAG's that Dane could cry about since everyone other than us already forgot about their WS title

I'm not quite sure why it took Yost so long to just put Travis Wood as the #5 guy ... yeah, he was awful the first month and a half out of the pen, but he wanted to be a starter, and he was probably being a crybaby little bitch about it. I was not surprised to see him have a solid(ish) outing the other day. He's a veteran gamer who wants to start. Might as well give him 4-5 more starts going forward and hope Karns comes back at some point.

If the Royals keep streaking, Dayton will get a 2 or 3 starter at the deadline. Bank on it.

Soria is (mostly) trustworthy, and Minor has been playing great. Moylan is okay. The rest of the bunch makes me clench my asshole every time they're on the mound.

I think David Glass, who is pushing dead, really bought in to baseball and this core from 2014 - 2015 and he's spent money proving so every year along the way.

Matching contract offers to Moose/Hos WILL happen (IMHO), but will they take it when Moose could probably get $200M somewhere if he hits 45 bombs?

We'll see. The whole 'he wants to play in LA' narrative you've been pushing the past few weeks is nothing but projecting. Just like me.

I never thought Gordon wouldn't resign and I think we offered him too many years on the contract. I wouldn't have given him more than 3 years and I said that from the start.

I personally think both Moose and Hoz want to try other options, even if KC matches the pay.
