On how he deals with playoff losses and not getting to the Super Bowl:

“It’s very, very hard to get over because those opportunities don’t come along as often as you would like. We’ve been [fortunate] with Andy and John making the playoffs in three of the last four years. But getting that home game and being a step away from winning the AFC Championship game, you want to take it. I wouldn’t say I was angry, but the disappointment was hard to get over. During the regular season, if we lose it usually takes me two or three days to get over it, but a playoff like that, it was well past a week and there will be a lot of times this offseason when I look back and try to come to terms with the fact that we didn’t get there. The great thing is we get to start focusing on next year already.”

On what he was like while grieving the playoff loss:

“What I would like to do is have no outside influence and hear nothing about the National Football League for a week or so. Once we got past the conference championship games, I was able to tune back in. But I still have friends that are either calling me or when they run into me, they can’t help but bring up our season. They want to tell me what a great season it was, which is true, but it’s also a tough pill to swallow because they all start off by saying, ‘I know it didn’t end like you wanted it to.’

“If it’s a close friend, you slug them,” he joked.

Agreed. They had their chance with the world league. They need to bring it back as a development league and have its season end when preseason begins and have them play the nfl teams.

Or

Have 2 teams control one europe team. One nfc one afc, they draft an extra 2 to 4 rounds or more. Players not on the main team regulated to europe. Increase roster sizes the last month of the league and can grab from europe.

I'm sorry, I think he tunes-out just about everything right after the millions and millions are deposited in the account, and cares less when the other mega-millions are dropped off after that. I don't buy for one second that he gets angry, at least not the way normal people do. If any of what he said is true, and that's a very small chance, maybe he ought to vent for the day after the team is ****ed by many missed holding calls, then take a week off while the NLF decides if he's going to get a statistically irrelevant fine for being too honest.

I still don't think he gives enough of a shit to get angry, and sure don't think he gets mad enough that he needs to step away from the business for a week, but I do think has has a damage control team working for him. He's just saying that to make gullible people think he cares, like he's a real owner or something. He's a pretty-much a trust fund brat, wants to avoid a little well-earned scrutiny, and is willing to say such things in hopes of a few more people deciding to become/stay STH.

Did anyone ask him if he knows that the AFC Championship trophy is called the Lamar Hunt trophy?

it just dawned on me. that was the deal the devil made with lamar. he got his name on the trophy in recognition for his accomplishments, only to banish his team to mediocrity, i just want to know how long the contract was for. hope not forever.

I'm sure he has no clue, and is more interested in whatever name is on some soccer trophy at this point in his life. But hey, as long as "Clark Hunt" is on the mega-million dollar checks the NFL sends him every year, which keeps his mouth shut, just like always with the Hunts.

We could have a better owner, but we could have a wayyyyy worse owner too.
A lot of people have been saying for years that Clark only cares about soccer, but not one has ever produced any evidence this is true. It is the CP mass delusion.

Andy will never give up play calling and Clark Hunt will never ask him to. You need to get over this whole unrealistic idea. No one but a bunch of random people on a internet board thinks that is a possibility.
