Did you completely miss the low ball offer to Miller?

Because that's my point. You don't let all of those guys walk so you could supposedly pay him then turn around and give an insult of an offer, then withdraw it.

That is a slap in the face to Miller and a bad message to send to the rest of your team.

Miller and his agent have agreed to the years and money of the contract. They're now haggling over the amount of guaranteed money and structure. I wouldn't read in too much on all the hoopla.

Yea, but it's always about the guaranteed money, and the guaranteed money is WAY off. It's significantly less than Vernon got from the Giants. If you don't think that's a slap in the face....

Some of you are too fixated on the process.

Elway kept matching Brocks offers from Houston all the way up to 16.5m per...after that, Brock stopped taking Denver's calls and completely ignored them, even though they kept calling him trying to negotiate. Brock got benched and then low balled with the initial offer from Denver being 8m per.

A very similar situation happened with Malik.

Danny Trevathan knew he was leaving in December and even said he was going to Chicago to play under John Fox.

Yup, nothing to see here. All clearly just part of the plan/process for Elway.

Both Malik and Tevathan are replaceable. As for Von, we are over a month away from the deadline. It will get worked out.

Players always care about guaranteed $$ over anything. That's what always takes so long.

If you're Von Miller and Elway offers you $10 million less than Suh in gauranteed $$ in the first 2 years, you absolutely look at that and demand more.

Yes that is an insult. SB MVP. Denver is nothing without him. He deserves a contract structure that's better than the top D player with more guaranteed $$.

One guy vs. several (and pretty much all of their FA's including their MVP)

Yea, exactly the same thing!

So you're telling me if you're Von Miller you aren't pissed at that ****ing low ball offer and then the arrogance to withdraw it?

Lol all different offseasons, and none after winning a SB. You're completely missing the point as usual. I'm done.
