Who is the dumbest athlete you've ever heard?

I just got done listening to LeBetard do a segment with Devonta Freeman, and I'm left wondering if he could put two Legos together. He might not be the absolute dumbest, but he is in the Vince Young tier of dumbassery.

Who is in your Hall of Morons?

I was about to post something similar. He basically mimics a Baptist minister when speaking.

Neil Smith is a good candidate for this, but at the same time I don't think he even had the lowest Wonderlic of his first-round class. If I remember right he got a 4 and Bennie Blades got a 3, or some such thing. But again, is that intelligence or is that a complete lack of literacy? It's tough to disentangle the two, but the bad vocabularies of people like Neil Smith and Emmitt Smith and Shannon Sharpe could be less related to intelligence than to education and what they heard growing up.
Smith had a pretty severe dyslexia issue. I think the Chiefs discovered it and got him help.

ZOMG

And was proud enough of it to inspire him!

That is amazing.

Not a popular opinion, but Derrick Thomas didn't seem very smart.

Clinton Portis. I can remember an interview on Espn years ago. And they asked him questions, he continued to plug his video game or whatever. One of the worst interviews that I've ever seen. Almost like he had the attention span of a six year old.

I actually thought he was pretty smart. The practice rant, if you get over his purposeful redundancy, is actually a really good point.

Not necessarily his articulation, but his mismanagement of his personal life is epic.
