So, I REALLY think this team has what it takes to make a playoff run...

Alex Smith threw for 300+ today. He's taking shots downfield. He looks like a star.

We have a one-two punch on both sides of the football. The one-two punch of JC and Knile Davis looked magnificent today. On the defensive side of the ball, Hali is getting pressure, and Justin Houston is absolutely raping the O-line.

Kelce fumbled today, but more than made up for it with his play on the TD. Between him, DAT, and Wilson, the Chiefs really have some weapons. Not to mention we have Bowe and Avant to mentor them.

with the replacement of Linkenbach for Mcglynn, the offensive line looks outstanding.

Once again though, Smith has completely restored my faith in him with his downfield, aggressive play today.

I'm ready for the playoff run, boys. Here we go!!

I think the Chiefs find the magic wiggle and the receivers catch everthing thrown at them.
The defense mawls like ravaging hordes and the secondary plucks every Rapinbooger pass like low hanging fruit. Alex flames golden rainbows out his ass for 400 yards and every punt by the pitts is and instant TD. Prob won"t happen but don"t wake me.

I would normally find if shocking that anyone thinks a win over the Raiders means anything about this team being good.

But this is ChiefsPlanet and some people here just love sucking.

I'm a homer, but I can tell you we've played lots of defenses that are superior to Shitsburgh this year, and we've been victorious se of them. I can see us beating the Squeelers, but the "same old Chiefs" whisper in the back of my head says, we lose. So I'll be pleasantly surprised if we don't get humiliated!!

I don't think the team is any better or worse than I thought they were at any point this season. Just enjoyed signs of waking from a funk, especially on D, and hopeful they have the brain trust to build on it. They've certainly backed themselves against the wall.

If the Chiefs can find their early season groove and manage the game like they did against Seattle, they can and should beat Pittsburgh. For whatever reason, Alex Smith has become a 3rd down nightmare the last 4 or 5 games. I'm not a huge fan of our chances but let's not oversell Pittsburgh. They've survived a really easy schedule.
Penalties have increased putting us into 3rd and longer and putting Smith out of range to pick up the 1st.

I think I should have put post #2 in the OP. I guess it wasn't over the top enough to show that I was joking. I've even gotten rep for being positive.
