Predicting the rest of the season, is it enough?

We are currently sitting 4-3

Rest of our schedule (My predictions)

NYJ @ KC (Win)
KC @ BUF (Win)
SEA @ KC (Loss, but seattle is playing terribly so a possible win)
KC @ OAK (Win)
DEN @ KC (loss)
KC @ ARZ (loss)
OAK @ KC (Win)
KC @ PIT (Win)
SD @ KC (Tie breaker?)

I could see us maybe being 9-6 or even 10-5 (bearing a Ariz,Sea upset) going into week 17 against SD fighting for the possible WC behind Denver.

San diego is going to be playing a lot of tough competition soon MIA?, BAL, STL( Any given sunday?) NE, DENV, SF, And last US

If we can win the games we are supposed to win and maybe upset seattle like everyone else has been doing we could actually see us in the playoffs come years end regardless of how the begging of the season looked sitting at 10-6 or 11-5. Whats your guys' thoughts on the chances of us making the playoffs? I think they are looking pretty good especially if we can get our O-Line ship shape.

I'm living in the current times, champ. The times that see the Chiefs in 3rd place in their division and the times where a team that's only top 10 in run D and score less than they give up aren't "great."

Like grinding out 266 yards on the ground? That weakness? That kind of ground game is just awful for winter football...

Nice way to ignore the point.

Our line is ****ing terrible outside of Hudson. Fisher easily had his worst game of the year.

And we have no one who can stretch the field. No WR who's consistent. We have a ton of dropped passes.

You throw in some stupid coaching decisions and we end up losing games we should win (Titans, 49'ers.)

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

6 weeks ago this thread would have been considered laughable.

We are playing well. When we play well we can beat any remaining team on our schedule.

our weaknesses are blatantly obvious

bad o line, bad wr, below average LB (though they are playing much better)

yet, no one has been able to stop our running attack, including denver who allows the least amount of rushing yards per game, the dolphins at 5th, the 49ers at 10th, and the rams who allowd less than 3 yards per carry to frank gore, and marshawn lynch the two weeks prior to playing us... im not saying that this team is the best in the nfl or anything, but you're acting like they are fraudulent, and teams are going to magically figure out how to stop jamaal, and knile, and that is not the case.

I'm the last one to blow sunshine up your ass but I see what I see. The season is a journey. Some teams get better, some get worse. Neither Denver or KC is the same team they were when they last met. If KC can use that D and running game to control top and not have to play from behind they can win games imho. Denver's D is gelling, turning into a force. We'll see but this season is shaping up to be fun...

Maybe after the titans game or game 2 when we went 0-2.

But 8 weeks ago, before the game...

LOTS of people thought we would end up between 6-10 and 9-7

It might be a bumpy road, and honestly I too after the 1st two games didn't think we would bounce back this well...

But it still wouldnt shock me if we only won 3,4,or 5 over the next 9 games......and ended up 6-10, 7-9 , 8-8 or even 9-7

it WOULD shock me if we won 6 or 7 (or more) though.....

This team has already exceeded what I thought, especially considering the poor start and injuries to DJ etc

tl;dr

I'm enjoying this season a lot more than I thought I would

and I still will even if we have a bad losing streak here of 3 or 4 games soon

We need to beat Barfalo Jets both Raiders. That's 8. We need to win the games we are suppose to. Then we need 2 toss up games or predicted flat out losses. Toss up games are Pittsburgh, Seattle and Chargers. Probable losses are Donkos and Cards.

That's all opinion of course.

Bills prolly should be probable loss since we never win up there.

Even if you do get into the playoffs I find it unlikely that you would beat NE, BAL or Indy on the road. So what's the point of wanting to get to the playoffs?

You want to win every game.

You want to get to the playoffs to have a chance to break the 1993 curse.

You want experience for a young team.

This shouldnt need to be explained.

Look at your track record and tell me where you can't say the exact same thing about your team.
