You are really having fun with this aren't you?

I am not as confident. I will not believe until that final out is recorded and we are in. In fact, I am quite certain this isn't real anyway and my alarm is about to go off and wake me up.

I had a friend text me last night and ask who he should root for in NL for the Royals to play in the World Series. He's not a baseball watcher and I think that's what even some baseball fans forget, that hot/cold play happens in the blink of an eye. We are red hot but that could change tomorrow and the O's could flip the switch, get the calls and have hits go their way. This series is far from over as baseball is all about streaks.

I'm supremely confident. This team kind of reminds me of the 2006 Cardinals. The exception being we don't play in a shitty division. That team scuffled through the season, but pitched so well in the post season and got timely hits from guys like David f.ing Eckstein to win it all.

The Royals are getting contributions from unlikely sources too (Sal, moose, Esky last night) and it looks to me like they are showing the O's to be crumbling under the pressure of being heavy media favorites and the weight of (unreal) fan expectation.

I'll ride the wave .... Where it takes me....

Well I'm a PJ nerd and that song also ranks in my top 3 favorite PJ songs of all time.

Perfectly fits this Royals situation to a tee. Nice one.

Nothing to do with the quote. It's just the resilience of this team. This is just the song I think of when it comes to this season. Its all good brah.

I threw this in the Willie Wilson thread, but worth posting again. This gave me chills at this show.

I'm an Orioles fan and the way I look at it we have to win 4 out of the next 5 games. Seems like a daunting task to me.
