I like the idea of giving Carlos Peguero a shot. He's been raking in Omaha, with 30 home runs in 104 games. You just never know. He might come up here and give the team a lift.

He also may not do anything at all, but they way this team is hitting, it's a gamble worth taking. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I've defended good ol' Ned more than most on this board, but I just don't get why he likes Ibanaz, or the other broken-down old dudes we've had who can't hit.

I liked when we had Miguel Tejada last year, we had a nice streak going during that time.

I think I'm more pissed about Ibanez back in the lineup and batting 6th, than Peguero getting a shot.

Tejada brought SOME value to the team in terms of production.

Ibanez does not.

This. All the while, Willingham rots on the bench for the 2rd straight night. WTF?

I don't hate Ibanez one bit...

I understand Willingham is hurt but I don't see how, when healthy, they can keep his bat out of this lineup. He should probably be the starting RF'er...

I get that defense is our identity but ****...Cain and Dyson have more than enough range in CF (and Gordon in LF for that matter) that we can afford to have a below average defender out in right.

His back really must be hurting. I hope that's the case, and not a situation where Ned is just that ****ing stupid.

I guess he pulled something in his back, he's available to PH tonight. And probably start tomorrow.
