I didn't get all the run he got for the Morgan Freeman thing. I just don't see why it was so funny.

I wanted to like Caliendo, I really did. The first time I ever heard him was when I heard him doing his John Madden impression. I looked forward to seeing more work.
When I finally got to see more work, the impressions were there, but the comedy was not. He just wasn't very funny. Very good at doing impressions, but he needs to pay some writers for material. I get bored very quickly when watching him. There were some laughs in that Gruden skit though. Thanks for sharing. |

Okay, I am not a Frank Caliendo fan in the slightest. But hot damn I lost it at the Jaws impression.

Best Presidential Impersonations (by SNL guys)
Nixon: Dan Akroyd (not as good as Rich Little, who's not an SNL guy) Ford: Chevy Chase Carter: Dan Akroyd Reagan: Phil Hartman Bush 1: Dana Carvey Clinton: Darrell Hammond Bush 2: Will Ferrell Obama: Jay Pharoah The best of all time is probably Tina Fey doing Palin, but of course that's presidential wanna be's. |
