Reading Nothing But Positives About Our D Line
Either our o line isnt so great or our d line is gonna be nasty. Everyone i spoke to at the camp or anything ive read online says the d line looks completely dominant. Poe is a ****ing 340 lbs bear, Bailey looks HUGE at over 300 lbs and Catapano might be one of the leanest 295 lbs guys in the NFL. I heard all these guys are killing it and I heard maybe the MOST impressive of them all is Mike Devito! Hearing he is leaner and faster and has simply destroyed every drill against the o line. I was looking for pics and found these...any good pics of Devito? I'm excited about this defense and i wont lie......just a bit nervous about this o line for some reason but hopefully they prove otherwise.

All four are Pro Bowlers. Hali, Johnson, Houston, Poe.

He was a guy. It would be no different than drafting Jeff Allen at #3 overall. And considering the circumstances, I'd rather take the risk on the boom/bust. This is a moot argument, anyway, because history shows that there were plenty of fine players to choose from in the 2009 draft. Hell, he could have picked BJ Raji, and nobody would have gotten on his ass about ignoring positional value at such a high pick in the draft. But in the restrictive hypothetical terms of Tyson Jackson or Mark Sanchez, I'd take Sanchez. Without even thinking. |

I think I'll rather enjoy watching Alex run to his next city...

T-Jax wasn't as bad as some are making out. How long was he a free agent? Two hours?

I'm indifferent about him. I would have kept him for the right price but he got overpaid. He won't be hard to replace. The draft is a crapshoot and the other guys in the top 10 that year pretty much sucked. You should read what Chip Kelly had to say about the draft yesterday. It was pretty interesting and kind of applies to this conversation.

There is no excuse for this defense not to be top 10. How many teams have 5 all pros on defense (other than that dumb **** blowmohefs wet dreams of course.)

If you judge him by the whole body of work and take into account where he was drafted - he sure was. He turned into a serviceable 2 down player, but that's his ceiling. As for how long he was a FA, where did he end up going? Coincidence?

only 1 year but it's difficult to not expect the worst given the complete collapse and lack of adjustments last year.
