So can Dorsey fire Reid?

Legit question

On paper Dorsey is above Reid, but who's REALLY in charge?

Or are the attached at the hip as one?

We don't need to fire Reid. We need to fire whoever is feeding him plays.

Clark and Dorsey need to have an intervention with this guy and tell him that he needs to hire someone exclusively to watch his playcalls and manage 2 minute drives. Idk if Chilli is doing all this but if so he's terrible.

Reid has cost this damn team 4 games. How the **** does Knile Davis not get a carry last week, especially on THIRD DOWN AND ONE?!

Charles had 4.2 YPC in Oakland and we can't run more in the 2nd half?

I understand Reid has turned chicken shit into chicken salad with this offense, but he makes some of the stupidest mistakes that really cost us games.

The teams Reid took to those NFC championship games weren't any more talented than this Chiefs team.

If they were, it wasn't by much.

Hopefully, the team responds to the loss to Denver by playing at the level we have seen them play at this year. I labeled this Arizona game a "gut check" game and I expect to see KC come out playing the best ball of the year.

You hit the nail on the head with Knile. The Chiefs are at their best when BOTH backs get touches. That's so damn obvious it
s pathetic when it doesn't happen.

I'm not saying that firing them is the answer, but the squalor of mediocrity isn't a convincing argument for not doing it, either.
I have a theory.

Alot people still believe it's tough to be both the Head coach & OC. The list isn't big of coaches who have won superbowls and called their own plays.

Disagree. Their defensive talent was downright nasty. Outstanding secondary (Lito Sheppard and Troy Vincent or Bobby Taylor or Sheldon Brown, Brian Dawkins) and some nasty pass rushers (Hugh Douglass, Corey Simon, Jevon Kearse, Bunkley), always solid LBs, and a DC who was outstanding at getting the most of these guys.

Solid talent on offense - solid QB (McNabb), always a good RB (Duce or Westbrook), solid TEs (Chad Lewis, LJ Smith) and a mean nasty offensive line.

Reid had some insanely talented rosters in the early 2000's.

Reid took over a 2-14 team and is also handcuffed because of the offensive line and WR siuation. He's doing fine and we aren't getting one any better.

Dorsey on the other hand has ****ed up 2 first round picks and made no attempts to address the teams biggest holes. I'd be totally good with him moving down the road.

In spite of what is said publicly I have strong doubts about how much power Dorsey actually has. I doubt he is soley doing the shopping and Andy is just cooking the meal. I dont believe Fisher or Ford are here without Andy's blessing.

While I agree Pederson's playcalling has been suspect at times, we really need to see coaches film to determine if noone is getting open, Alex is missing reads, line not blocking... or any combination of the above.
