I think I'm on episode seven, and I'm enjoying it. I guess I don't have impossibly high standards.

Less screen time than Foggy is probably a good thing.

I felt like the entire thing was an attempt to make the Iron Fist relevant and that bogged the whole show down. It was interesting enough at first but went downhill as the episodes went on.
Spoiler!
When Iron First was fighting Elektra..
Spoiler!
...and it's annoying how incredibly stupid Danny Rand is. He's just a dumb character. He's a stupid person who does stupid things and he really doesn't have any redeeming qualities. I'm already sick of the man-child bullshit. And his super ability is stupid. Supposedly when his fist lights up he can do all of these great things but at one point near the end he's just doing his normal shitty karate moves with his fist glowing and none of his enemies are reacting to it. Oddly, it's believable that the dumbass was just too stupid to remember to use it even when his chi was charged up. It's not a chi thing. It takes all three of his brain cells working together at their highest capacity to actually pull off a move that accomplishes anything. TL/DR: Iron Fist ruined the show. |

It gets worse as Iron Fist becomes more and more the focal point of the story.

Sigourney Weaver was a huge let down. I honestly can't say if it was the writing, directing, or the acting. But she was a big meh. She started off OK but never really brought it home.

Yep at one moment, Iron Puss's fist is soo powerful it knocks down a wall and another time it just glows in the dark and does not hurt anyone. I was hoping Stick would just cut his head off- is that bad of me? I don't see them making another Defenders after this dud. DD should get another year and possibly Cage the others- nope. |

Just started watching and the fake film grain is pretty out of control to the point of being distracting.

In the middle of episode 2 and want to slash my wrists every time Danny Rand is in a scene.
I'm just going to assume that he is a fake Iron Fist. The real Danny Rand is friends with the real Mandarin and just hired a stand in from the same company so he can sit home snorting blow off of Squirrel Girl's tail. http://heros4parties.com/characters.html Notice that the Iron Fist page has been taken down? He's obviously on a long term assignment.

Why was she even in this? The Madame Gow (sp?) character was much more interesting and apparently she had the force as well. Ripley didn't do jack $#it other than do a poor job walking in heels...
