Has anybody mentioned this from the Redskins game?

That despite K-pass being active for the game, the Chiefs trotted out Terrance Smith at OLB to spell Zombo?

I'm telling you, we've got to get this rookie settled in at DL and stop trying to make the OLB experiment work.

And neither game was really close.

A whoooole lotta caps lock here, and yet nothing you've said rejects the example I brought up.

Did you or did you not commend John Dorsey for cutting his own third round pick in what you hilariously described as a "boss move"?

And then some time later commend Clark Hunt for firing John Dorsey, who made a lot of ****ups, you exclaimed in caps lock to some other person, including for drafting Russell in the 3rd.

I'm not even hating on it, is the thing. You can swing and contradict yourself and turn yourself into pretzels for all I care. Clay does it on the other side of he optimism/pessimism divide and I somehow like him more than you, considering your massive stockpiles of gentlemanly charm.

I was saying the same thing in another thread. Houston is our only pass rusher and he's tired from chasing tight ends down field. Rotate his ass in there.

In what world does completely screwing up the Russell selection equate to a boss move? Dorsey pulled a boss move? But cutting his own third round selection?

The Russell thing was completely screwed, yet Dane hails Dorsey for his stupendous leadership on the issue or some such? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Then those pills kick in one year later when Dane gets on the "good riddance" train to defend letting the best GM in our history go. I got whiplash from it.

So ****ing what. He praised Dorsey for cutting a player Dane knew was trash then he praised Hunt for letting Dorsey go for ****ing up the draft pick among other things. How is that contradicting himself?

Well, so nothing. That's what.

This is a football message board. I'm not the one literally losing sleep over having to replace my caps lock key for the 10th time because a stranger has disappointed me online. That's Casanova himself making mountains out of molehills. I sleep like a baby.

My originally point, that still stands, is that Dane turned the Russell debacle from an opportunity to shine Dorsey's knob into an additional lashing on Dorsey's hyde the moment he got fired.

I don't give a flip. That's his prerogative and I'm not here to police the internet. But I've also got no shits to give about calling a spade a spade.

And when you're taking a guy as green as Kpassagnon, you really can't expect that he was going to be among the guys that make an immediate contribution, especially when you're trying to teach him to be a stand-up linebacker.

If you're looking for some near term help, you'd be more likely to get it out of someone like Jelani Jenkins. Jenkins isn't much of a player, but he's a player that can play right now and not embarrass himself. He's still just hanging out in FA after being released by the Raiders and at 25 yrs old he'd know that this may be his last, best shot to stick in the league land earn himself a real contract.

If you're counting on K-pass to be a player this year, I think you're simply barking up the wrong tree. The odds of that ever happening were extremely slim.
The Chiefs have drafted as well as anyone in the NFL the past five or so years. I am not about to second guess them now.
