What do you think of Colorado's new logo?

This just went up.

As a disclaimer, I was not involved in the research, and in fact no one knows right now who did the research, though they claim that it was extensive (despite the fact that I'm across the street from the Capitol and never heard about it). The only companies mentioned are marketing companies.

I'm glad you're happy where you live but I'm just reporting the facts as I saw them. I'm not saying one is better than the other. BTW, I'm from Iowa, and you'll never meet better people than live there.

Hey, at least they keep your roads up. That's one thing that DOES suck about Colorado - our roads are largely shit.

Oh I believe you. And actually, it does kind of make sense. If you're going to leave California, Colorado is one of a few places that can offer the natural beauty you're accustomed to. Alright, fine. You win.

Last one just to be comprehensive. Here's where Californians move TO:

Code:
Texas 68,931
Arizona 51,442
Nevada 42,090
Washington	40,545
Oregon 34,180
Colorado	25,934
New York	22,568
Florida 20,834
Virginia	17,283
Utah 16,415
So, though it's true that a lot of people from California move to Colorado, we're not necessarily their #1 destination. It's just that there are a **** ton of people in California.

Are they going to have to break off the top of the sign when they secede?

I find a few things play into moves.
  1. Job - you move there because work moved you there or for an opportunity.
  2. Physical Health - some factor in the environment is required for your health
  3. Mental Health - The weather is simply more pleasant
  4. The Borg - You want to fit into an image that the area portrays to emit.

The last is the one that kinda kills me.. Cali, IMO, is the largest example of that as people often want to live there because of what the TV sells them. I'd buy weather in many areas, but all too often I think it's the culture that people think can only be found there.

Anyway, that's just my opinion, and I'm happy where I am, so it's only that relevant. I've lived all over, seen the good and bad (for me) in those areas, and I made a choice that I've never regretted (so far).

That being said, other than the Broncos, I'd think CO was pretty darn cool. Maybe I could learn to get over the Broncos too, but it would take a long time!
