Normal game has 12/13 possessions. Chiefs got 7 extra and offense only managed 10 points? That's awful
https://twitter.com/huthutdk/status/781058110542778368

This guy is a ****ing moron. The Chiefs had 9 offensive possessions.

Also, most of the turnovers came when the Chiefs already had a comfortable lead, and were running the clock out. Two of the turnovers were returned for TD's. Should've had 7 more on the board if it weren't for that fluky fumble out the endzone.

Was it a great, or even good offensive perfomance? No, but it wasn't nearly as bad as this biased pillowbitergot wants to pretend. I bet he didn't shit on any of the Broncos wins last year because of their inept offense, especially one they won by 20 ****ing points.

Well technically they scored points on 4 of the 8 turnovers and should have had points on 5 of 8 (Ware).

A defensive or ST score negates an offensive possession and puts the defense right back out on the field skewing TOP, so there is that as well.

As has been stated, even with the turnovers our starting field position sucked most of the game.

I'm not in panic mode yet but they need to pick it up.

Seems like everyone has forgotten they scored 30 points in a little over 1 quarter week 1.

You claim that good teams score points regardless of starting field position...well, last year KC was top 5 in points per drive.

But you continue to post stats that fit your sorry ass agenda that the offense is bad because of yards.

That's not even touching on the fact that we love faced 2/3 defenses that are top 10 NFL defenses, if not top 5.

I'm saying they can't win the same way the broncos did last year. Offense has to be better.

VS one of the worst pass defenses in the league.

We never should have been that far down...

So they get no credit for performing against bad defenses and don't get any consideration for going against good defenses?

Yes, because of the defense. Easier to score when you start at the 40 after a turnover, you know? Defense propped up that stat. I would bet this team was in the bottom 5 in drives that started inside their own 30 that led to points.

If you don't move the ball, you are a bad offense.

Period.

Well 4 of those quarters were just explained and they sucked ass against the Texans.

I don't think anyone is saying there isn't room to improve but the chicken little shit is silly at this point.

They have played good defenses thus far, but who do we expect they'll be playing in january?

Denver, new england, houston etc.

And then the Offense will most certainly be better, as it has been just about every year, and we should have Houston back.
