My wife and I took a week-long loop through Alamosa, Durango, Silverton, Ouray, Telluride, and Gunnison last year. Beautiful town, but I mostly think of it as the place to stay when you're out visiting places like Mesa Verde and the surrounding area. The drive from Durango to Ridgway is one of the most beautiful in the state.

2. Did both you and Rainman being CP members and/or Chief fans have anything to do with you meeting?
Yep. ChiefsPlanet is the reason I've had the job I have for the past 11 years. I noticed Rain Man talking about his research company, and that's what I was interested in. I bugged him via occasional PMs for a couple years before coming out for an interview, and the rest is history.

3. What was you college major that led you to a statistics oriented career? Thanks
I certainly had no idea what I wanted to do when I grew up for the first couple years. I started out as a Physics major at UM-Rolla but hated it. Transferred to Emporia as a Music Ed/Math Ed dual major. Eventually decided I wanted to make money, so I changed to a Business major with a marketing emphasis. Eventually got my MBA before joining Rain Man, Inc.

Why in the blue hell did you ever tell me to check this place out

I’d also like to take this opportunity to remind you that after telling me to check this place out you were the first one to haze the n00b version of Buehler445

I know - I protected you for a few years or at least months. It was my pleasure. Your John Deere Avy indicated and still indicates 'pureness' 'honesty' and 'loyalty.'

Heh...I'd forgotten about that. At the time, it was basically just me and morphius trying to keep the place running (though Dole was around, he's always been hit or miss in terms of being online), so I would randomly get tons of PMs while I was driving down the road and have to muddle through banning users and deleting posts on my first smart phone. It sucked.

Who would win an arm wrestling match between you and Rainman. Why? What would your syke out rituals before the match be? How would the loser react?

Heh...that's a good question. Both of us are moderately active, but both in sports that require legs rather than arms (running for him, skiing/hiking for me). I'd bet I could take him if I offered to buy him a Diet Dr. Pepper as a consolation prize.

I doubt either of us would react particularly strongly. I hope I'm not incorrectly speaking for Rain Man when I say that neither of us are going to be winning any bodybuilding competitions.

So your ritual would basically be to buy him off with a soda, and he wouldn't even bother with a ritual other than folding immediately and giving in. Got it.

Creepiest? None really come to mind. I think there have been a handful of times where people have tried to get me riled up by using my actual name and stuff, but nothing's ever come of it.
