Ah...the memories...... To Ray's credit, he was exceedingly complimentary of how great that KC line was. Can't be too mad at him.

Overall in the history of the NFL most teams who win the SB have a great defense. The trend is obviously changing because of all the rule changes but you Arena Football and fantasy football lovers have to face the facts defense is an important part of the game and it always will be.

Probably score 17-21 points on that defense. We only scored 24 (in 4 quarters) on the current Baltimore defense last weekend and those guys aren’t as good as the 2000 defense.

Ed Reed is my favorite player, but he wasn't on the 2000 Ravens, he didn't get drafted until 2002. The safeties on the 2000 team were Rod Woodson and Kim Herring. The corners were Chris McAlister and Duane Starks. The linebackers were Ray Lewis, Peter Boulware and Jamie Sharper. The D-line was Sam Adams, Tony Siragusa, Rob Burnett and Michael McCrary.
The main starters on offense were QB Trent Dilfer, Tony Banks played the first 9 games and was 5-4, receivers Qadry Ismail, Brandon Stokely, Travis Taylor and Patrick Johnson. Special teams returner was Jermaine Lewis who returned a kickoff for touchdown in Super Bowl XXXV. Tightends were Shannon Sharpe and Ben Coates. Running backs were Jamal Lewis and Priest Holmes. Priest wore #33 and he was one of my favorite players, he was a free agent out of Texas who played 4 years for the Ravens, and everytime he touched the ball, something good usually happened. Unfortunately Brian Billick was stupid, and drafted Jamal Lewis in the first round and Priest went to you guys, and the rest is history. Looking at the roster today, it's almost like an All-Star game. They beat the Giants 35-7 in SB XXXV, who had just beat the Vikings 41-0 in the NFC Championship.
