Abdullah got a little lucky. Benjamin had him beat badly for 6 but Cam overthrew him. I think KC was a little fortunate Newton was shaking off some rust.

I left Checkdown Chase off my list. What is the point of talking about our 3 million dollar, pick 6, clipboard holder. His place on the team and in Chiefs History is secure-they ****ing LOVE this guy. Love him!! He is not going anywhere-no matter how many picks he throws in camp and limp dick throws on a easy slant. They are molting his statue for the front of Arrowhead right now. |

Chiefs had four times more penalty yards than Carolina.
That's some Fox NFC home cooking. |

Yep, if the Chiefs took a shot on a first rounder, we too could bathe in the glorious goo of broadcasting love....

Impressed - Travis Kelce He's a stud and should be starting, maybe Fasano is a better blocker??
Depressed - The defense in general but mostly the D line, you have to take some pride in your job as a D lineman and letting a RB run untouched into the end zone just doesn't cut it. |

edit for content: Impressed: Frankie Says Relax. Depressed: our D-line. Ugh that's supposed to be a strength and they got pushed around. I thought those days were over. |

Depressed - too many problems all over, many of the same issues we had all year
Apparently Emmit Thomas sucks. Impressed - not much ... Kelce? Knile didn't fumble?

I wonder how impressed people would be with Kelce if they could find it in their hearts to ignore the big play he got because the defense let him run freer than Elsa the lioness.
As for Fisher, he looked fine against Johnson, but Hardy made him his bitch way too often. Smith looked fine Bowe looked fine Thomas showed some flashes |

As somewhat of a detractor, I've been impressed with Kelce so far. He's doing pretty much exactly what I thought he could do, although I'd like to see him flash his blocking potential a little more than he has thus far. |

The ability to make NFL guys miss in space, outrun DBs, etc. at his size is what jumps out at me.
