Go to 2016 and cut Smith. We go from $35 million in cap space to $28 million in cap space.

I still don't see it. He'll play out this season and next season.

Then finally they might draft a QB.

I think his contract in 2016 became fully guaranteed. They won't cut him next year. I don't see them taking 25 m on dead cap.

Our best hope is that Smith is ****ing beyond mediocre this season and they draft a QB in the first round next year. Smith and said rookie battle it out in TC and Smith loses. That's a lot of money to spend on a backup QB.....but who ****ing cares as long as he isn't on the field.

I hate to say it but our best hope is for an injury , a minor injury , that just gives us a chance to see what Daniels or murray can do with the 1st team.

In preseason they were the ones that put up all the points and some of that was against 1's still playing against them

Yeah he has zero confidence, study his body language and facial expressions next game. He hangs his head a lot, wonders around like a zombie, rarely looks anyone in the eyes and sits on the bench by himself. Not desirable traits in an NFL QB.

If repost, blow me... even our old buddy Larry Tynes was hammering Alex the other day, said he was doing it because he's a Chiefs fan.

Yeah there is a thread about it and I'm still laughing about him getting smacked down by a kicker.

He deserves every smack he gets.

He blabbered all offseason about how hard he was working on it, then comes out this year as bad as ever... I know why his body language sucks, because he knows, and he knows his teammates know, that he isn't earning that huge contract.

Yep the body language of other players when they're around him tells it all as well. You can tell they know he's not taking them anywhere.
