However, if Reid does think he needs some time, whats the difference between playing Alex or Daniel? Assuming they didn't trade for Alex, do you think the end result would be different with Daniel starting? I don't. They aren't going to win a SB next year. |

You win now by not drafting an immediate starter in the first two rounds?

Not really...that's why at this point in the movie Id rather hope that the iceberg only hit 2 compartments even though I know that's not the truth...at least until it's been confirmed that the ship is going down FOR SURE.

This isnt the first time The Chiefs were fascinated by Geno.
Right after the combine Tj Carpenter of 810 sports came out and said the Chiefs FO were blown away by Geno at the combine and really really liked him. Imagine how much more impressed they were after his pro day!! |

I don't buy that bullshit.
He either ends up in a good situation with good coaching and succeeds or he doesn't. There's nothing better than actual game experience. He may not be hot shit his first year but if he is going to succeed in the NFL I don't think that playing him year 1 is going to devastate his growth and ruin him as a QB. |

However the Eagles and Chiefs do!! Remember Alex Smith did not get an extension. He has 2 years on his contract. Say Alex does average the next 2 years Geno can step in right away and produce quickly because of the coaching. It will be the same situation with Rodgers and Favre. |
