How goddamn stupid do you have to be scoring that low on a test coming straight out of college?

I wonder if this is a direct connection to why these players blow all their money on strippers and jewelery and end up broke two years after they retire?

Some people just don't test we'll. I know my son is one of them. He would get A's on home work he turned in but a D on the test on the same stuff. But he listens to me when it comes to money. He pays his bills, saves and has zero debt.

I'm not a fan of the fact that these are released publicly either. I think discussing one's intelligence is often disrespectful.

The Wonderlic isn't a proper gauge as to whether or not a guy will be able to learn an NFL playbook anyway. Off the top of my head, Donovan McNabb and Dan Marino both scored in the low teens and Ryan Fitzpatrick scored in the 40s. Not to mention the large number of skil position players that routinely score less than 15 yet go on to learn playbooks with no issues. |

There are multiple measures of intelligence and standardized tests are not a good indicator of such. For instance they don't take into account testing phobias, different ways of interpreting information, etc.

Maybe being dumb is the KEY to why he is awesome. His mind isn't cluttered with thoughts and stuff. He just thinks, "CATCH BALL!" and "RUN FAST...THAT WAY!" The rest of his brain is devoted to manipulating his nervous system to stimulate muscle fibers to carry out that mission in a perfectly orchestrated symphony that nobody can stop. I can live with that.
