He's awful. He and Rick Ray at Mississippi State are definitely in the running for that title.

And it shouldn't be a surprise. He was a ****ing bad assistant coach.

Lipscomb, Eastern Illinois, and North Carolina Central. All on home court.

Time to resign, Kim.

Sure am. Always will be.

If there's one thing that always fired the idiot Norm-backers up, it's competition with Kansas. A pair of 50-point drubbings by KU in Year 1 might have ended this moronic experiment right then.

I miss those games, the CP smack, the intensity, controversy, etc....

Maybe some day. But right now it wouldn't be good for Kim and probably get him fired.

I haven't been impressed w/ Mizzou in either FB or BB in a very long time. There's no reason they shouldn't recruit better. They need to figure out the funds to elect a desirable head coach in both sports, IMO. I tell you that Coach K has it figured out - this is coming from a person who used to despise Dook and Coach K - but after reading a few of his publishings he's a sold f'ing dude and there's no wonder he recruits so well and others want to play for him. I truly think the geography is fine and Columbia is nice enough - I think it all starts w/ coaching, or (in current day sense) lack thereof ...

Do you consider 2013 a "very long time ago?" That was a legitimate top 5-10 team.

Problem there was Pinkel's staff got lazy and rested on its laurels, and it bit Mizzou in the ass the last two years. They also wildly miscalculated their recruiting strategy moving into the SEC.

Basketball is still trying to dig its way out of Mike Alden's hole, which I don't have the energy or time to revisit right now, but which ended with him having so little leash with a basketball hire, he had Kermit the Frog shoved down his throat by idiots who think it's still 1979 and who cream their pants watching Hoosiers.

Thomas Robinson fouled Phil Pressey.

It would be terrible for Kim. Which is why I wish it would have happened two years ago.

Right now MIZZOU needs to just commit themselves to paying the most money for the biggest name coach who's on the market. They need people running the FB and BB programs who have names big enough to attract some great talent out of high school to play for their name.

Kim Anderson needs to be fired. Now. If not fire the asshole who isn't firing him. To be fair...KA should've never been hired in the first place. Loses recruits and can't keep his team. So embarrassing I mean Lipscomb...Wtf is that...Burn it down.

Well you wouldn't need gifted games in that dump barn against this squad. The keys should have been owned and never returned after that joke officiating of the final game.

Yes. There are tons of people, coaches included, that want to build something from the ground floor, which Mizzou certainly is. There are a ton of natural advantages that Mizzou has that can be used to make a Sweet 16 team every few years. Pay the money and we can find a coach to maximize what the state has to offer.
