Set yourself a goal and then post in here to be held accountable. If you want....we can track your weight-loss all year long and then crown a winner at the end of the year. I know in the past that posters have put up prizes (not necessary).

I had been eating Atkins bars every morning, which were utter shit, both nutritionally, and flavor wise. I love Quest bars, but they were too expensive to buy every day.

Pretty much every day I eat a breakfast bar in the morning, I eat a triple cheeseburger from McDonalds for lunch ($2.50), and then I eat a salad and chicken or shredded beef with mexican toppings for dinner. I average about $10 a day on food.

I'm sure I could be doing better, but compared to my fat ass self who spent probably $25-$30 on food a day, I'm doing well.

As far as this whole thing goes, I've cut a lot of fat, and think I need another month of strict keto to hit my goal, but it's not going to be 195. I think my new goal is 205-210. I'm a lot beefier than I anticipated.

The profit margin on all food you eat is insane. Buck is paying about $1.50 per bar. Can of tuna (.80) + some almonds (.50) is about same price for same calories with similar protein content and fat. If you are worried about spending $.20 more for your lunch or snack for something that tastes better, you need to find another job.

I wouldn't spend $3 on those bars either. But when you buy in bulk and cut the price in half, you are doing just fine.

This is incorrect.

One can of tuna has about 100 calories and 20g of protein.

Twice the nutritional efficiency at half the cost, friend.

Eat smarter, not harder. And save money doing it.
