I live in SEC country, and I have found that everyone seems to be positive on us as long as we aren't playing that day. The Florida and Georgia fans want us to win our bowl games, and they were glad to see the SEC expand with two good programs. The attitude is generally that making the conference stronger is always good, that high tide raises all boats. I have been to games in Gainesville people are interested and talking to us, generally being hospitable. (Southern hospitality is a real thing even today and even in football)

There are a lot of fans of ACC teams here too, and they have no feelings about us one way or the other, which is pretty much the same attitude I have toward the ACC teams.

The most unpopular teams here are FSU or UF, the opposite of whatever your alignment is, then Miami, then Ohio State.

That's probably because they haven't heard stories of 2002, though, if you're being honest with yourself.

The article posted is commenting on our OOC schedule, which is nowhere near complete. It reads like something PB would post.
Excuse you. I just pulled up your appealing 2015 sec sked: Florida-Tenn-So Car-Miss State. I bet your fans are just jizzing their pants to get their hands on tix for THOSE epic battles.

Combine that mediocrity with the pig slop nonCon and you get what that article properly dubbed "laughable."

Yeah, having 1/2 of your conference home games against teams that are perennial Top 15 squads is just so awful.

Come on, man.

I wonder why you conveniently left out Georgia.

I just took who you played this year at home and assumed it would be the same. If Ga is on your 2015 sked my bad.

You're probably right. I assumed he was talking about the schedule in its entirety.

I've traveled thru the south & haven't met anyone who isn't happy about Mizzou in the SEC.

The Bevo conference doesn't understand the possibility of having 8 teams in the top 25.
