Yes, he plays a 3 role for the most part.

Almost every two guard plays also in 1 or 3. It's pretty much impossible to pick just pure SGs for any list. I tried picking more guys that wouldn't be confused with a 1

Shooting guard is actually really weak right now. Established guys like Kobe and Wade are declining, and the young guys haven't quite picked it up to fill the void. Really, it's Harden and Klay and then... Ugh.

I don't know, man. Wesley Matthews is playing really well right now, but top five? Monta Ellis? Kevin Martin? Seems like it's either volume scorers or spot-up guys. I put Kobe and Wade still on this list but it's more because of reputation.

I always considered George a SF. Same with Hayward and Parsons.

I based my list off of who I would want going forward. Matthews game is highly underrated, he doesn't have the flashy ppg stats but he does everything well. Martin is a great scorer but offers little else. Ellis is just a turnover machine, also takes a lot of bad shots

I was really just kidding because rusty claimed Waiters was a top 5 SG when, in reality, he's a fringe roster worthy NBA player

I like demar actually, him and Lowry are a good backcourt, but he takes a lot of bad shots as well

I disagree. Waiters should become a solid off-the-bench shooting guard, if his ego will ever allow him to do it. He absolutely has ability to be a solid shooting guard if he didn't have such a bad attitude.

As a Grizzlies fan, I am biased, but Mike Conley is lurking right around that top 5.

I wonder if Cleveland could have sent Kyrie (and his new contract) to Minnesota instead of Wiggins and Bennett.

I like Conley as well he is definitely Top 10. There is alot of good PG's in the NBA right now.

And speaking of shooting guards, I would probably consider Westbrook more of a 2 than a 1. I think OKC maybe better with Jackson at the point and Westbrook playing the 2 spot

I have a feeling Oladipo will be making that list soon. But as you know, I'm biased.

I mean, let's be honest

at this point they should just have LeBron run the point, Kyrie do whatever the hell Kyrie does, and let LeBron and Love run the show.

Someone told me that Kyrie isn't a great spot up shooter, so this idea is probably ****ed, too.

How do you have LeBron and Love on your team, run the point, and go 6 quarters without an assist?
