The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Sheldon Day, DT/DE, Notre Dame
Straight BPA pick. What a steal in the fourth round...even though TB doesn't have an immediate need at the position. |

Great pick for any team running a 4-3 at this point.

I think he goes in the second round of the real draft.
Very disruptive player, but a little short. |

Yeah I took him at 90 for Miami in another draft I'm doing (that one allows trades... how I got the pick) and I felt pretty pleased to get him there.

When the Lions were scouting Willie Beavers they also became enamored with this player. The Detroit Lions select Ronald Zamort, CB, WMU.

Posted from my phone so I wasn't able to expound.
I honestly don't know that he fits the Giants as well as he fits some other teams but the talent level is there so I took him anyway. My thinking is that the Giants acquisition of Jenkins gives them a lot of coverage flexibility. Jenkins is a space cadet but he's also a hell of an athlete. He's among a handful of CBs in the league that can play man coverage as well as he can play zone. He's not what I would consider a pure press corner, but you can play man without pressing. If they decided to do some man concepts out wide, they could do an off-man with Jenkins and press on the other side with Bradberry. Bradberry has the physical ability to handle that pretty well, IMO. And worst case scenario is that Bradberry makes for an excellent safety convert. I think his physicality plays well at SS but ultimately the safety positions are largely interchangeable in most schemes. The Giants need safeties arguably as badly as they need CBs so when your fallback is a premium athlete at a position of need, that's a damn nice pick. There have been some years where I wasn't happy with my drafts and I'm not convinced I love my Steelers draft this year. That said, I friggen love this Giants draft so far. Through 4 rounds I think I have 4 definite day 1 contributor and all 4 guys could easily be starters, if not out of camp than at least by mid-season. With Vernon, Harrison and Jenkins added to the defense, I think this team's probably a contender with Cravens and Bradberry on D plus Stanley and Thomas on O. I'm also pretty sure I know who my 5th and 6th round picks will be and they'll help a bit as well.

Man, I've got a couple strong targets for the Browns at 139 & 142, but the order in which I take them is what is a tough decision. Someone could take one of the guys and make it a lot easier for me.
