Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

Best damn pistol I've ever shot as far as reliability and being able to hit stuff with it.

I don't think a recoil pad is necessary, unless you plan on shooting nothing but new production 7.62x54. I've found that it kicks much harder than the commie military surplus ammo that comes in sealed tins. |

Do you use stripper clips to load? They don't seem like a must have, but it seems a lot of people get them.

Good price on 223 PMC Bronze - http://www.slickguns.com/product/223...pmc-bronze-899
And I've never tried zinc plated steel casings, but $0.22 per round is a great price if your gun is OK with them - http://www.slickguns.com/product/mfs...9-5-sh-over-99 Last edited by kepp; 12-11-2014 at 12:33 PM.. |

Finally shot my Glock 19 last week after owning it for three months. I highly recommend buying one. Shoots like a dream. Best grouping I've had with a pistol.

A 1956 Mannlicher-Schönauer Carbine 30-06 has been offered to me by a neighbor who is getting rid of her deceased husband weapons. No scope.
$900. What is your opinion of 30-06? I do not deer hunt. Worth getting? Thanks |

Found a Springfield EMP 1911 9mm in stock early this morning, and had to buy it. I was shocked, because you can never find a 9mm EMP in stock anywhere.
