Video Games Elder Scrolls V - Page 47

So the guys at Bethesda let it slip a few months ago that Elder Scrolls V was in the works for 2010, and a friend said he read a possible release in 2009... I'm looking for the article, but I'm friggin' STOKED about a new Elder Scrolls game coming out in the next 12-18 months!!!

I think they can learn a lot with the successes and failures of their previous landmark releases like Morrowind, Oblivion and Fallout 3 and make ESV an absolute KICK ASS game!

Seriously, you'd probably be happier if you wait a couple of weeks on Skyrim until they can come up with the first major patch.

These goddamn bugs and glitches are about to drive me out of my mind. So far today the game's crashed three times and my computer's crashed twice. It's ****ing maddening.

Not a serious problem on PS3 -- the system he'd be buying it for.

The guy at gamestop said Skyrim in like a second and basically explained that Dark Souls would piss me off to no end.

Same. I chose PS3 because it doesn't seem to have AS BAD of a texture issue as the 360 does. I nearly said **** it though and picked up 360 version (mostly for achievements, **** you) but my 360 tray is having issues reading from disc. That and I have this brand new slim blu-ray player/PS3.
