Giants expected to make a push for Norwell. With the Gettleman connection, I find it hard to believe he goes anywhere else

Not really.

With a bunch of middle round picks I think the Chiefs are positioned to draft positions like ILB and safety and come away with legit starting talent. We probably need to use FA to fill holes on the roster that can be difficult to do in the draft. I’d rather spend FA dollars on CBs, OLB, and edge rushers.

There are some rumors that the 49ers might cut Jimmie Ward as a cap causality. Would love to put him back at safety with Berry. He’s had a few issues w injuries and playing out of position but he’s still young and a former 1st round pick. The kid can play

I could get behind that. Would allow the Chiefs to lock up both safety positions with guys in their prime for the next five yrs.

On Kyle Fuller:

“He won’t get tagged,” texted one source not affiliated with the Bears.

“I don’t think they will use the tag,” said a personnel director for another club in the market for cornerbacks. “It’s a deep corner class in free agency.”

Deep corner class is great for us. Drive the price down.

And yes hell yes to Jimmy Ward.

Fuller, Ward and the ILB from the Titans and the defense just got a lot younger and faster.

I just don't see KC spending much more at ilb other than maybe signing KPL back fairy cheap because of his small body of work and off field issues. Same with guard they've got erving witz and eringer. Parker eringer won a starting spot as a rookie over Fulton who everyone's ready to re-sign.

I think veach gets a guy like aaron lynch to rotate with tanoh, signs a guy like fuller reasonably, while the markets right on quality corners, then drafts DL like a mad man.

I’d be great with that trio and a good quality LG in FA...I’d also like to bring back Mitchell, Wilson and Fulton on 1-2 year deals.

Ward will be cheap. He's only played 16 games in the last two seasons due to injury.

It's hard to believe that 49ers will keep him at an $8.5 million dollar cap hit.

I'll be really surprised if Fulton doesn't get Starter's Money somewhere.

Jeff Allen got $7 million per and Fulton's more versatile and reliable.

I didn't say they were, but parker eringer beat out Fulton for a spot as a rookie, was hurt until early in the season, and how many good guards have we let walk? I think eringer is a hand picked reid style guy who can block in space and they'll expect him to come back and take the reigns. Don't get me wrong I'd like to shore things up for mahomes I just don't see them doing it.

We should sign Anthony Hitchens. I think we could get him for a "Cheaper" contract and he is a decent to good MLB

Him and Ragland would give us a great combo at MLB

My cut off with him is probably between 4-5m per year.

He has earned that kind of money, like 3 years for 13m. He was better than Morse both times he got the opportunity to play center. At least imo.
