Did Tony Stewart Kill Someone Tonight?

I'm seeing it on Twitter. On my phone and can't link. One of his fans says he ran over someone on a yellow and should be arrested for it.

This is a tragic story, that's the only relevant point. The fact that it makes me like TS all the less should come as no surprise to anybody. He's an asshole who always has an excuse for wrecking other drivers, and flies off the handle if anybody so much as touches him. The only thing bigger than his God-given talent is his ability to whine and cry.

Yep, I recall last season at one of the road course he said "the next person who blocks me is going into the wall".

The guy is an arrogant prick and I've witnessed his douchiness first hand in the pits.

I think that's a valid question for auto racing to look at....how young is too young? Not that I'm saying age is the only way to measure maturity..
He wasn't 17 he was 20.

There would have been no where for him to go. The guy was on foot and tony could have turned left to avoid him. If he was low and ward kept coming down the track and got hit no one could say anything about what stewart did.

He was as confrontational as ward IMO, he stayed high to scare the guy and teach the guy a lesson.

This is the dumb ****ing thought that needs to be removed from analyzing the event. Nobody has any ****ing idea whether or not Tony Stewart had any intent to scare the guy except for Tony Stewart.

Jesus Christ.

And it sure as **** didn't look like intent given I don't see Tony's car accelerate nor fishtail, nor any other thing upon arriving at Ward which would then indicate Tony "stomped the gas" as many here claim.

Tony was also running only a slightly higher line than the car in front of him, looks to be about a tire width, not even half a car. Tony was well below the wrecked car.

Well no shit no one knows. But it is a ****ing possibility, and it's my opinion.

Yours doesn't have to match up with mine. Doesn't make it any more credible though.

I dont now about what all has been said but I know this, Ward did something dumb and nobody, and I mean nobody knows what was going through Stewart's head when this happened except him.

Its ****ed up regardless. I have zero doubt Stewart was not trying to kill him so that makes every other option an accident.

No, but announcing such an opinion at this stage does nothing but preclude your input from any binding assessment [not that you'd realistically find yourself in a situation to sit or a jury or anything]. Point being, it's true that our opinions don't have to match, but to state such ineffables in such concrete terms so quickly at such distance on the such a knowledge base does color our estimation of your assessment skills.

Maybe Kevin Ward was part of the vanguard of an invading alien lizard attack force and Stewart is a time traveling robot who is humanities last hope for survival. It's a ****ing possibility and it's my opinion.

And that's fine. I have stated multiple times what I think he did wrong in this thread, that and his prior instances of aggression lead me to be of that opinion.

I didn't just pull it out of my ass.
