NFT: Stanley Cup Playoff Thread

I know there are a small group of us that are into this. With the playoffs starting tonight I am already feeling a little crazed. So here is a thread we can use to keep it all together and not clutter the Planet with threads everytime we have a new playoff thought.
Thanks to those hockey haters for your toleration.

I'm looking for a bracket to post, but have yet to find a decent one.

Ward was Roy-esque in the third period. What a finish.

When he made the glove save he lifted his glove up to show the world... you're learning, young goalie

I really don't care for either team, and was just happy that it was an exciting game, especially that 3rd period.

Can't believe the Oilers lost their goalie for the series, damn.

My OLN is on the fritz. The rest of my channels are fuine, so I'm pissed.
I've been watching the NHL playoffs in hi-definition widescreen for the past month on INHD2, it comes standard with Comcast digital cable with the HD box. We have the OLN network on channel 2, which is an analog channel and sucks on a hi-def set, but INHD and INHD2 are digital channels 226 and 227 and they are beautiful. They show a lot of sports and music on those two channels, they pull things from the Yes Network and other sports systems. They usually show a Yankee and or Red Sox game at least once a week, everything in Hi-Def, even the commericals. Sarah Mclaughin in concert was also on last night, I saw Doyle Bramhall Live at the Great Wall of China last week, he's a great guitarist who played previously with Roger Waters.

That was a great game last night, I've never had a favorite team. The Capitols are only 40 miles from here but anything with Washington in the name is hated in Baltimore. I usually go for the underdog and lesser known teams. I rooted for Carolina a couple of years ago, this year I've been for Carolina again plus San Jose and Anaheim, so now I still have one team left in the race.

OOOOHHH!!! OOOOHHH!!! OOOOOOHHH!!

Game 5 of the WCF, Avalanche @ Red Wings 2002 is on at 6ct on OLN... YES, I know how the series turns out, but this is still one of my favorite games of all time, and my favorite Peter Forsberg moment...... and on top of all of that, I hope they show the fan reaction like ESPN did

Game 6 was much more crushing.... and on one hand, while it would be nice to say we at least competed in game 7, in the short term going down in flames in the 1st period is better than stressing out into 3 OTs just to lose, because you can just get on with life that much quicker.

I'll just be sure to change the channel before they come back with "and of course the Red Wings came back to win the series in 7..."

Anyone watching this game...fast paced, high scoring (as far as hockey goes), good stuff.
